For Writing LS2 created a pour qoui story relating to the Maungarei Mountain.
Back, far back, in the mists of time when the world was very young, Mount Firing Mountain called Te Maunga Ahi had a very bad temper when woken from her beauty sleep. When woken her anger would sometimes take over her emotions. As her anger took over sending the other mountains running to look for cover. She grumbled and smoke started to come out of her nose. Her Lava and ash started to erupt out of her crater.
As she was the youngest she had jealousy because all of her siblings were bigger than her and ignored her.
The more she was angry the more her siblings were scared of her. When she was at the tip of her anger her siblings ran for cover waiting for it to be over.
Te Maunga Ahi no longer had anger issues earthquakes started to become lower, And the villages and towns no longer had chaos , Te Maunga Ahi’s parents quickly and calmly ran up to her and apologized
“We are truly sorry for what we we’ve caused you and making you feel that you felt like the lonely younger child I could of paid more attention to you” replied Te Maunga Ahi’s family
with a guilty expression on their face, trying their best to get back her trust and respect,
“ But how can I forgive you after what you have done to me?” Te Maunga Ahi responded,
Te Maunga Ahi thought for a while they were her family so she decided to forgive them. This had made Te Maunga Ah’s behaviour and taught her a lesson from now on to learn which sorts of behaviour work well and which don’t, and to improve yourself without regretting your decisions. It was then and now Te Maunga Ahi had decided in order to succeed herself to the world and make things better she chose to fall asleep and never wake up again.
Thanks to Te Maunga the villagers, other Maunga, and the world had started to improve for the other Maunga, the people, and Te Maunga Ahi herself, The people crowded around Te Maunga the fiery guardian had come to live in peace once again . Over time the people developed and Te Maunga Ahi started to improve. And that is why Te Maunga the fiery Guardian sleeps in peace once again.
If the other Maunga could even imagine if Te Maunga Ahi would rise again with her volcanic heart beating in second.
